Beskrivelse:
This book explores how experts of conflict management in the family field work by taking a closer look at expertise, orthodoxy and the role of theory in the practice of mediation.
Many professionals worldwide find that mediation's benefits are huge - both for society as a whole and for those unable to resolve their disputes on their own. Voluntary participation remains, however, one of the cornerstones of the mediation process. It creates a special dynamic in enabling people to recognize and take up the opportunities that mediation offers to them.
This book is a collection of texts from experts working in many different fields and in different countries around the world such as Australia, U.K., US and Denmark. The sharing of experience and insight helps us all to reflect on ways of improving systems currently in operation in our respective countries.
